Grading & Dirt Work in Houston & Surrounding Counties

Smaller dirt work can help prepare an area for its next use. Describe the result you need rather than assuming that a particular machine or amount of fill will solve the problem.

Discuss your project

Preparing to launch. Operator availability is being established. Inquiries are welcome; jobs are not yet being scheduled.

Home / Grading & dirt work

Start with the intended use

Explain whether you are discussing dirt spreading, surface leveling, or smaller site preparation. Include the area, current conditions and future use. Major excavation, engineered drainage, foundation design and structural work require separate evaluation and are not included automatically.

Discuss material and elevations

Tell the operator whether material is already on site or needs to be supplied, and whether anything needs removing. The operator should assess the property before proposing quantities or elevations. Material supply, hauling and grading should be clear parts of the written quote rather than assumed extras.

Raise water and access questions early

Mention existing standing water, nearby buildings, fences, utilities and equipment access. Moving soil can affect how water travels, so drainage concerns need appropriate evaluation. We do not promise that minor grading will correct flooding or establish a build-ready site.

Houston and surrounding counties

Our service-area focus includes Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Waller, Liberty, and Chambers counties. Send the property city and ZIP code. Travel range, equipment fit and operator coverage are confirmed individually; inclusion on this list does not confirm a booking.

Send a useful project inquiry

Include the approximate area or quantity, your intended result, access constraints and preferred timing. After submitting the form, you can email property photographs to [email protected] with your inquiry reference. The Capitol Fund reviews inquiries and asks permission before sharing details with an independent operator. The operator provides the quote and job agreement directly.

Prepare a project inquiry

Questions before you start

Is fill dirt included?

Only if it is explicitly agreed with the operator. Supply, transport and spreading should each be addressed in the quote.

Can you fix a drainage problem?

Describe the issue, but engineered drainage and flood correction require separate evaluation. No drainage outcome is promised through this inquiry service.

How are grading prices determined?

Area, material quantities, access, hauling, equipment and the agreed finish affect the scope. The independent operator determines the price after review.
